OVERVIEW

Your privacy is important to us.  To better protect your privacy, this policy describes what information is collected, its usage, and how to contact us if you have any concerns.  If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, you may not access or use the services provided through sajuniortennis.com.

SECTION 1 - WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED

When you conduct a transaction with our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you provide us, such as your name, address, phone number, date of birth information, email address, payment information, registrant name, registrant date of birth, and possibly survey information.  

When you send us emails or other communications, those communications and their contents may be maintained so that we can resolve your inquiries or otherwise assist you.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser, operating system, the web page visited before coming to our sites, and identifiers associated with your devices.  This information enables analysis of how services are being accessed and used, and to track service performance.

Depending on device settings, your devices may transmit location information that may be used to improve and protect site performance. 

When you initially provide or update payment information, that information is transmitted via encrypted connection to a third-party payment processor, such as PayPal or Stripe, who uses your payment information in accordance with their respective privacy policies.  We do not store your full credit or debit card information.

SECTION 2 - COOKIES

Cookies, small pieces of text sent to your browser when you visit our site, are used to enable a number of functions, such as retaining your preferences, keeping you safe, improving performance of the site, and promoting the site.  

Analytics and Performance:  Cookies are used to help track site performance and to analyze how the site is being accessed and used.  For example, cookies can be used to determine page views, conversion rates, device information, visitor IP addresses, referral sites, and if an email were opened.  This helps us tailor the site to customer needs.

Authentication, personalization, and security:  Cookies help verify your account and device, note when you visit pages, and provide information about shopping cart contents so we can make it easier for you to access and use appropriate features.  Cookies can also be used to help prevent fraudulent use of login credentials.

Third Parties:  Cookies may be used to help you sign into third party services from our services.  Third party cookies, such as Google Analytics, may also be used to assist with analyzing performance.  Third party privacy policies govern the usage of any third party placing the cookie.

Advertising:  If at some point we partner with third party advertising networks or service providers to manage our ads on other sites, those third party partners may set cookies to gather information about your usage of our site and other sites you visit in order to provide you with our ads.  An example would be if you visited our site and also used a social media platform, you might see our ad on that social media.

Opting out:  Your browser can be configured to not accept cookies.  However, this may limit your ability to use the services on our site.

Pixels:  A pixel tag, or pixel, a small piece of code embedded on a website or email, may be used to learn how you interact with out site pages and emails. 

Device Identifiers:  Device identifiers may be used to track and analyze the performance of our site and any ads.

SECTION 3 - HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED

The information collected may be used to process and track your order, to provide the services you request, to contact you if there are questions, and to send email updates and promotional offers. This information is also used to create records for event participants.  We may send you email with service-related announcements.  We will also send you emails related to your transactions.  It is our intent to send promotional emails only to those persons who wish to receive them. With your permission, we may send you promotional or marketing communications related to upcoming events, store items, our site, and other updates.  During the checkout process, there is an option to opt out of news/update/promotional emails from SA Junior Tennis.  You can also opt out of subsequent promotional communications by clicking the link marked unsubscribe (or similar phrasing) included in those communications or by emailing support@sajuniortennis.com.

SECTION 4 - CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that reason and for creating participant records.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 6 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

Third parties may be used to help provide assistance with hosting or data storage.  These third parties may access, process, or store your information to perform tasks only for the purposes we have authorized.  We may also share with third parties anonymized or aggregate information that does not directly identify you.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

SECTION 7 - SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL).  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, payment transactions follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

SECTION 8 - AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

SECTION 9 - RETENTION

Your data is retained for as long as we need it to provide you with service, to comply with the law, protect our rights, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide services and sell products to you.
