2018 May Gran Prix Plus Tournament
The May Gran Prix Plus tournament offers double Gran Prix standings points for wins, so this one counts a little more than the regular ones. It's May 5-6, 2018, at Alamo Heights Tennis Center. Players 18 and under, of any skill level, are welcome to play. Champs are not limited to Super Open divisions in this one. (For division information, see below.)
For players just beginning the season, a 2018 Season Initiation fee/Waiver must also be submitted (see link in the "Shop" menu).
Tournament Dates: May 5-6, 2018; earliest anticipated Saturday start time is 8:30 am. See draws for specific match times. Draws will be posted at http://www.sajuniortennis.com on Thursday, May 3. An email will be sent out once they are online.
Entry Deadline: Sunday, April 29, 2018 @ 11:59 pm.

Eligibility: Regular Gran Prix age divisions 12-16 are open to all players Champs level and below. The INTRO division is open to Level 2 or lower players. Super Open divisions are open to all players, including Championship and Super Championship players. In the event a division is short players, it may be combined with another division. Genders and ages may be combined in the INTRO division.
Age Divisions: Age division placement is based on the ages players will be on September 1, 2018.
Format: 2 out of 3 sets, no-ad scoring, full third set; for INTRO, one 8-game pro set with ad scoring, regular tiebreak (first to 7 by 2) at 7-7.
Surface: If the tournament site has both clay and hard courts, both surfaces will be used interchangeably in order to maximize efficiency and to minimize delays. This will allow as many matches as possible to be played at a single location.
Refund policy: Please note refunds are not available after the entry deadline or for any weather-related cancellations.
